I have the honour to inform you that on the

26th September I confirmed an order for the deportation

to India of seven Indians, their names being Pooran Singh,

Kher Singh, Gulam Haidar, Ahmed Khan, Badir Din, Bishen

Singh, and Sewa Singh.

The men were afrested in an empty room by the

local police and charged before the magistrate with being guilty of conduct likely to lead to a breach of the peace. The evidence satisfied him that they were members of the Ghadr party met together to further the aims of that party,

Satisfactory sureties not being forthcoming he made an order for their deportation, which after careful consideration of his report and after calling on the men, who had nothing valid to allege against it, I confirmed.
